screen capture of the issue
Hello.
After upgrading a 64-bit 13.1 OpenSuSE system (based on vmware esxi 4.1 update
3) with zypper, the video is split and repeated on screen, producing mirror
images of a part of the screen, and making the rest of the screen unusable.
I have faced the same problem with Ubuntu 12.04 LTS after an update (also with
14.04 from day one) and the solution was :
1) either migrate to version 9 version of virtual machine (impossible on 4.1
esxi)
2) or fall back to an older video driver.
I have searched for references of the same issue on OpenSuSE but there doesn't
seem to be one. So I am submiting this bug with the hope that someone will come
up with a solution.
Please all who can provide some input on how to deal with this.
