I don't think so. Werner is using radeon driver with EXA acceleration and not
GLAMOR, so Mesa isn't involved here. His card is from 2005-2007 timeframe. ;-) 

BTW, we'll have Mesa 22.3.5 on Leap 15.5. So things should be fixed for you
with an update to this Leap version. :-)
