'patterns-base-x11_enhanced' recommends the 'web_browser' package symbol now. However, Falkon is missing that symbol, so zypper installs the next best browser it can find when upgrading and/or using 'zypper inr'. Please add the 'provides: web_browser' symbol to the Falkon package.
