There is no "Properties" context menu entry in the side bar.
Is that what you mean?

Right-click on an empty space in the directory listing and choose "Properties".

Or are you talking about the free space bar in the side bar that got removed
years ago because it caused hangs?

And I still don't understand what you mean with "Not necessary", or why are you
