Fixed with https://github.com/openSUSE/installation-images/pull/251 For the time being you can build your own Leap image that includes the module. For this, grab kernel-default.rpm and run mksusecd -c new.iso --modules rmi_smbus.ko --kernel kernel-default.rpm leap15.iso (rmi_core is already included).
