According to both the original reporter and the other person reporting it in the forums, it only happened to them using VirtualBox. I experiment a similar issue with openSUSE 13.2 in QEMU/KVM. When I scroll and move the pointer at the same time on any Qt scroll, I get the same effect than scrolling directly in the KDE desktop wallpaper (switching virtual desktops). I can confirm it's a general Qt issue, since it happens with Digikam as well. It does not happen in any of my systems installed on "real hardware". I'll check later with a virtualized Tumbleweed in order to provide more info. Assigning to maintainer of libqt4
