Summary: It is necessary to reboot the system after enabling tcp
Product: openSUSE 10.2
Priority: P5 - None
If you try to enable the starting of X with tcp port 6000 in listen state, and
you do this either by hand (editing the file /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager and
then launching SuseConfig) or via yast (system -> /etc/sysconfig editor) you
have to reboot the system to enable 6000. In fact I tried restarting X by
logging out and re-logging in but with no success. After reboot all worked ok.
