There is no showphoto 16.12.
And there is no kipiplugin 16.08 either.

Not to mention that showfoto does not link to kipi-plugins at all.

I suppose your problem is that you installed libkipi from KDE:Applications.
As I already told you in another bug report, KDE:Extra builds against the
standard distribution, so the packages may not be compatible to
KDE:Applications.

Switch back libKF5Kipi-32_0_0 to the standard version 16.08.2 (and better
remove KDE:Applications) and it should work.
