This is a followup issue, because kiwi generates already sha256 files where the name does not match. The version gets somehow removed from the file name of the iso during build, but the .sha256 still has it. Somebody seems to do a 'mv -v' command but does not update the sha256 file: [ 1368s] [ INFO ]: 14:06:20 | --> Creating SHA 256 sum [ 1372s] `./openSUSE-Tumbleweed-KDE-Live.x86_64-2.8.0-Build131.24.iso' -> `./openSUSE-Tumbleweed-KDE-Live-x86_64-Build131.24-Media.iso' The live-kiwi-hook package sounds like the right place ...
