My fix request got declined because reverting the change of sdl dependency
breaks something. I believe the previous removal of sdl dependency is not a
proper fix of the problem since it breaks one of my important uses of ffmpeg.
However, I don't understand what exactly the problem was so I think I cannot
fix it myself.
