Comment # 44 on bug 1209436 from ernst Riepenhausen

on my old notebook (i5-2520) the .49 kernel doesnt start up
only empty screen (sometimes with minus sign on the left upper corner.
with splash=verbose only three lines of text

the .46 kernel is running as before
