The deb package produced installs the bash completion file for darktable located at /usr/share/darktable.bash to the wrong path, resulting in it not being loaded. To fix this, in the debian packaging, the following change needs to be made in darktable.install, to avoid creating an unnecessary subdirectory: -/usr/share/darktable/darktable.bash /usr/share/bash-completion/completions/darktable.bash +/usr/share/darktable/darktable.bash /usr/share/bash-completion/completions
