http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=583668 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=583668#c6 --- Comment #6 from Werner Flamme <werner.flamme@ufz.de> 2010-06-04 08:56:35 UTC --- I found a workaround on <http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1477983>: after adding nobrl to the mount options, I can open all the files I could not open before. So it seems to be a problem of communication between the samba fileserver (running on Solaris 10) and the cifs client and not a problem of OpenOffice.org. Ah, it's nice to blame it on Slowlaris :-) @Fridrich: I could not see that a Recently used file points to a wrong target. The cifs that gives/gave me the problems is always mounted on ~/Documents/DFS (since it is a DFS distributed by our windows domain servers and provided by (at least) two file servers both running Samba on Solaris 10).
