Err, if you provide such a long text, please use attachment instead of pasting on the form. At least PCI 8086:a0c8 is already included in sof-firmware Supplements, and this should have been installed if you allowed the recommends. But, if you installed Leap 15.5, this might not be installed because the sof-firmware package included in that version didn't support the new chips. And if you upgrade to Leap 15.6 from that state, sof-firmware might not be taken as well, because it wasn't installed. This might be a plausible scenario. OTOH, if you installed cleanly Leap 15.6 and it still doesn't work due to the lack of sof-firmware, it's a problem of the installer that doesn't take the packages for hardware supplements. In anyway, it's not issue of kernel or the sof-firmware package itself. Reassigned.
