Description: The Steam deck seems to have issues sleeping with the official dock. Trigger mem sleep enough times and the deck will give up sleeping. Hardware: Steam Deck and Official Steam Dock. Step to reproduce: 1. Plug in the Steam deck into the dock. 2. `echo mem | sudo tee -a /sys/power/state` 3. Wake up the Steam deck with either the power button or the Steam controller plug into USB. Use the steam button to wake up the deck. 4. Repeat 2-3 until the screen freezes Expected behavior The steam deck will sleep properly Actual behavior The error will either cause the deck to wake immediately after setting /sys/power/state to mem or wake up will completely freeze the display. I cannot reproduce this bug without the official dock. I have not attempt to reproduce this issue with any other third party docks.
