I have just updated my TeXLive installation via zypper by using the repository http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Publishing:/TeXLive/openSUSE_Leap_42.1/ Everything works as expected but on running the update-scripts at the end of the installation, I see the following messages: Running: texlive-kpathsea-2016.109.svn41139-104.1-zypper (texlive-kpathsea, /var/adm/update-scripts) /usr/share/texmf/texconfig/update: line 238: test: `)' expected, found /usr/share/texmf/texconfig/update: line 536: syntax error near unexpected token `(' /usr/share/texmf/texconfig/update: line 536: ` ?(\*)@(+([0-9])|+([0-9])x+([0-9]))dpi)' Running: texlive-kpathsea-2016.109.svn41139-104.1-zypper (texlive-kpathsea, /var/adm/update-scripts) ..................................[done] I have also updated TeXLive on my other openSUSE 13.2 installation from the corresponding repository and also there the errors occur. It seems that in my system these errors don't affect the functionality of TeXLive, at least from the files I tested.
