You don't understand. I can't blank the screen.

It will sit there for a hundred hours at the locked screen prompt. It won't
enter power saving mode.

I don't know what I've done. Please help.

I have no way of testing whether part of this bug is still present if I can't
blank the screen. But at least it hasn't been blank on suspend/resume, and I do
that several times a day.
