The resulting log file of the command `strace -v -o log ldconfig'

OK after running

  zypper in libefivar0 efibootmgr grub2-x86_64-efi shim

and

  strace -v -o log ldconfig

it does not happen anymore.  You may close this as WORKSFORME or do more
investigation on that as could happen on other installations as well.
This is at your decision.  If you want to do further investigation, then
pelase tell what I should do next on this VM.
