Different contexts (Mesa, vaapi) from different X-connections may want to share the same bufmgr. Currently this doesn't work as there will be different FDs. fdo#71759 contains a patch in comment #17: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=122880 which works around this - however the patch may not be complete, ie wrok only if the same DRI version is used by all X connections.
