User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:52.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/52.0 Build Identifier: My notebook does not recover properly from suspend mode when I open the lid. The computer freezes when the lock screen fades in. All I see is a black screen with a mouse cursor. If this happens, I can't move the mouse pointer, also CTRL+ALT+F-Keys or CTRL+ALT+Backspace won't work. It is still possible to SSH into the session, but not every command will be executed properly (e.g. reboot or shutdown). In the end all I'm left with is a hard shutdown by long-pressing the power button. This happens on a older notebook with Intel CPU and Intel integrated graphics (GM45). The problem also persists since March in openSUSE Tumbleweed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. suspend the system 2. wake-up from suspend Actual Results: Black screen with non-movable mouse pointer Expected Results: Lockscreen appears dmesg (via SSH) shows an alter message with red background: [ 3972.920582] RIP [<ffffffffa0296827>] i915_gem_request_alloc+0x107/0x220 [i915]
