Comment # 4 on bug 1014999 from Nolan Leasy

After getting another freeze and running iotop, I see nothing unusual in terms
of disk I/O and nothing related to Baloo.  I notice, however, that memory is
heavily utilized and there is only 2G of memory on this machine.  On the other
hand, I have run all versions of plasmashell versions prior to 5.8.x without
problems.  Leap 42.2 GNOME also has no issues.

The problem does *seem* to be Firefox on Plasma 5.8.x.  After escaping to a
command prompt, it really seems like I need to kill either the Web Contect or
Firefox process before I can successfully get a root prompt and "init 5" to the
GUI.
