Well, as mentioned in comment#12 there is an upstream fix for
gstreamer-plugins-qt5 which we do have in KDE:Qt5 (and it actually would apply
to the Qt4 version as well), so it would not have to be dropped really.

But we already had this discussion when they were dropped in Factory, and I
suppose you didn't change your mind since then...
