Comment # 45 on bug 1046277 from Ulrich Derenthal

I believe that I have encountered the same bug. Yesterday, my tumbleweed
installation (originally installed roughly 18 months ago, I think, and more or
less regularly updated) has updated thousands of packages, and now my pdflatex
does not work (executed from emacs/auctex):
