(In reply to Ludwig Nussel from comment #22) As already metioned: systemd does not provide nor handle remote terminals, it only handles a few local tty lines (the devices of the console). That is all other terminal lines including the remote one are service units. And this includes that if dependency rules do not require those service units in multi-user.target those will be stopped.
