I've figured some of it while I was testing with fedora live. It had no audio out of the box too! not even using the UCM from the backup (See attachment UCM file 1 and 2) of my previous fedora installation. *But* an older UCM backup was working instead (I had it tested it on opensuse previously, but probably snd_hdmi_lpe_audio wasn't blacklisted at that time). If I replace the working UCM with the "broken" one after loading pulseaudio and restart pulseaudio again it works and I have headaset mic working as a plus (which is why I was using it). So probably on my previous installation some of the state from the working UCM was somehow able to survive reboot. Working UCM (headset mic not working) is from https://github.com/plbossart/UCM.git It would be nice to figure out what's needed to have the headset mic working. Maybe I should rather open an issue on plbossart's git about that.
