I can't see -l switch documented in the help for p7zip. What does it do? I'll open a bug upstream to implement it and to fix the return code. Regarding the different output, I'd say that this is something that should be fixed in Ark, what do you think? I remember there were problems with nautilus, I will have a look at how the p7zip/7zip compatibility issues are solved there.
