I investigated a gdb testsuite failure on ppc64le, in gdb.ada/tasks.exp. The root cause turned out to be a glibc bug related to prctl ( https://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=29770 ). This is fixed in 2.40. Is a backport possible? Leap 15.6 has 2.38.
