https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=638127 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=638127#c0 Summary: Typematrix USB keyboard isn't recognized as such and disabled when unused in 2.6.34.4 Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Final Platform: i586 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel AssignedTo: kernel-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: adrien.clerc@gls-france.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; fr; rv:1.9.2.9) Gecko/20100824 SUSE/3.6.9-1.2 Firefox/3.6.9 The USB power is loss, and it takes many keypress and time the get reactivated. The idle time is very short, about 2 seconds. This can be "workaround" by having "watch -n 1 lsusb" running somewhere. I guess it avoid the USB hub to be in saving power mode. My keyboard is a TypeMatrix 2030 USB and is seen as "1e54:2030" in lsusb. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Upgrade to kernel 2.6.34.4, either PAE or desktop 2. Plug a TypeMatrix 2030 USB 3. The keyboard is unusable after 2 seconds without many keypress that are lost before it gets reactivated. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
