ft2demos has Supplements: fonts-config That means it gets basically installed by default. That includes some tool that is pulling in Qt. Do those utilities provide much value to the default desktop? If not I'd suggest to remove that tag. If there are certain combinations of packages where those tools are needed, packageand tags could be used.
