Can confirm.

Happens on a fresh Tumbleweed install, too, only defaults installed +
'plasma5-session-wayland' (obviously).

If ignoring the lock screen completely and directly using loginctl from a tty
to unlock the session, it behaves correctly though, not glitches (as described
by the original author).
