It's exactly as you said. Years ago, mysql-community-server was dropped from
the openSUSE:Tumbleweed in favour of mariadb.

Macias has already reported this issue at github
(https://github.com/openSUSE/software-o-o/issues/733) so I'm closing this bug
as RESOLVED UPSTREAM as it will be tracked outside Bugzilla.
