Ok, well I upgraded to 5.6. After making the necessary adjustments to get my system up and running, I have it back up, using breeze instead of baleiro, and I will watch and see how this works. I haven't had a kwin crash right after startup like I did before, so hopefully this is fixed. Thanks, Wolfgang, and the others for paying attention to it.
