Given, this issue boils down to a changed naming convention during the call of __kmp_supplements, where the kernel version is deliberately appended to the file argument (eg. something like _k5.14.1_1, see https://build.opensuse.org/package/view_file/X11:Drivers:Video/nvidia-gfxG05/my-find-supplements?expand=1) This is kind of a regression between rpm 4.14 and 4.16 as being hard to comprehend and deal with in the rare cases, a build would need to define such things itself. I'm assigning this to rpm now. Michal, could you come up with an explanation at least, why this was changed.
