I can confirm the issue is solved by the dracut update. However... First you had the VGA screen and the notebook screen showing activity when booting up. Now only the notebook screen shows activity. Thus somebody working on a machine attached to a ultrabase with external monitor will have to open the lid when starting the machine, no matter what. If not he will see either a black screen or not reaction on the LUKS input (reaction "dots" you see them only on the notebook screen). I do not deem this important, but somebody else may. You will have to judge. This bug is somehow connected with two other things (also the behavior before and after the fix). Before the fix, once the system started, when you did plug in after system start the usb keybord all open plasma-desktops came down immediately and you dropped out to sddm. After the patch, it is now possible to attach the keyboard without having immediate crash of all desktops (thought it might interest you). Also: in the one user that was hit by the most anomalies (the post one, with pam password and wallet troubles) it now (after the fix) as follows: it is only after 8 to 10 times possible to input the password of the wallet with opening it, while the other times it is false. - it is possible to get immediate opening when opening from the notebook keyboard directly. Thus the patch had effect (for whatever reason) also on this problem. After the patch however the machine now often tends to overheat and to shutdown in emergency (this appears to be in a random number of sessions, not always). Yesterday for example it boiled as soon as seccheck cronjob ran. I mention this because this behavior appeared after the dracut patch as well. So, limited to this bug, it should be considered fixed if you can live with the above.
