Comment # 1 on bug 1120317 from Stefan Dirsch

That's a bug in one of AMD's 3rd party driver packages overwriting the
directory where initrd searches for the firmware files. Check dracut config
files. Mabye your gfx card is no longer supported by this 3rd party driver.
