This still seems to be present in Tumbleweed. All other cron jobs in /etc/cron.daily/suse* seem to have the lines # # paranoia settings # umask 022 in them, which is exactly the fix described above. Somehow this didn't make it in /etc/cron.daily/suse.cron-sa-update however.
