They did happen on 4.9 series, but for 4.10 or 4.11 series I honestly do not know, as I have been running with the nvidia blob since then, as the crashes were driving me nuts :-) Leaving the needinfo in place, will give 4.11 a blobfree spin in the near future and let you know what shakes out.
