User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:52.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/52.0 Build Identifier: When I copy files over a network (using Dolphin) the CPU load starts to rise quickly. An animated icon in the system tray shows the progress of the file transfer. If this icon is hidden via the system tray settings the CPU load of plasmashell drops quickly. I've attached a video that demonstrates this behavior. This bug is probably related to Bug #1016920 that occured (or still occurs) in Leap 42.2 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Copy files over network using Dolphin file browser Actual Results: CPU load increases significantly Expected Results: CPU load shouldn't be affected that much by an animated icon This is probably not tied to file transfer but it's an easy way to reproduce this behavior.
