No, but it does with myth-tv

Yes I recall three or four kaffeines hanging around (one I recall being a
zombie).

I will try to get you all this, but it will take some time. I will be away in
June and as I am aware of the problem of burglary, I did empty to the max my
place to be able to find my notebook afterwards. I will then do the testing and
send it according to your indications. Please have patience, but I will send
you all, as I am curious to find out the reason. 
I am doing dual monitor support with the kaffeine running on hdmi and the other
monitor just for other programs on VGA on a ultrabase. 
That could also be a reason. So to narrow that down I will try first with one
monitor only.
