The rule is still that only one process can hold the zypp lock, so you probably
cant launch 2 software management modules at the same time, but that's
intended. 

AFAIK they fixed YAST, so the main menu does not try to lock zypp anymore. Only
modules requiring software management do lock. No matter how the zypp lock will
be improved, YAST has to handle possible lock conflicts and guide the user.
