It's largely questionable if this is a bug or a feature. One could argue that
if it's being installed, it shall be used.

And parcellite does not target any specific Desktop Environment.

But, as GNOME is anyway not the team deciding about parcellite, I'll pass it on
to Andrea, who is the maintainer/bugowner.
