We reverted to GDM 3.14.x for Leap since there are too many drivers not ready.

GDM is the only DM starting X as non-root.

Feel free to use a different DM in TW that still starts X as root.

Starting X as non-root is "wanted"
Heck back in 2010 the suid bit was removed from xorg-server, but I fail to see
the point as long as "every" starts X as root anyway.

As far as analyzing why kernel-xen is different in this regard, I'll leave that
up to those who do this as a day-job.
