The other scripts obviously use a different font - hangul is the only one
reverting to efont-unicode-bitmap-fonts, see e.g.

Only bitmap fonts are affected.

Probably, ibus-hangul (or libhangul) should pull in a suitable font:

Recommends: noto-sans-kr-fonts
Requires:   scalable-font-ko
