Comment # 4 on bug 1026780 from
Hello. Testing S:M:4728:132325, I was unable to bring vxlan up.
I have used this config file (/etc/sysconfig/network/ifcfg-wlan0)
STARTMODE='auto'
VXLAN="yes"
VXLAN_DEVICE="eth0"
VXLAN_ID="42"
IPADDR="192.168.5.2/24"
VXLAN_LOCAL_IP=""
VXLAN_REMOTE_IP=""
VXLAN_SRC_PORT_LOW=''
VXLAN_SRC_PORT_HIGH=''
VXLAN_DST_PORT="4789"
VXLAN_TTL="4"
VXLAN_TOS=''
VXLAN_AGEING=''
VXLAN_MAX_ADDRS=''
VXLAN_LEARNING="yes"
VXLAN_PROXY='no'
VXLAN_RSC=''
VXLAN_L2MISS='no'
VXLAN_L3MISS='no'
VXLAN_UDP_CSUM='no'
VXLAN_UDP6_ZERO_CSUM_RX='no'
VXLAN_UDP6_ZERO_CSUM_TX='no'
VXLAN_REM_CSUM_RX='no'
VXLAN_REM_CSUM_TX='no'
VXLAN_REM_CSUM_PARTIAL='no'
VXLAN_COLLECT_METADATA='no'
VXLAN_GBP='yes'
VXLAN_GPE='yes'

This same config file was used to check update S:M:4727:132324 and worked fine.
Tried on another sles12sp2 vm as well, with no luck.
