debug for kate
Steps to reproduce:
create a file with a 0 in it, both kate and kwrite crash on opening.
Here attached the debug: the first char of the annexed file is 0, opening with
kate or kwrite results in a crash.

Therefore this bug is not directly related to kate or kwrite themselves.
