Which kind of patch? Including files below /etc/modprobe.d on SUSE also if
$hostonly is not set for existing products? 

Then I would like to reassign the bugreport to you. 

For future products we may want to switch to /lib/modprobe.d for additional
config files instead of /etc/modprobe.d.
