+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #923990 +++ /usr/sbin/config.postfix does some wild guessing if $POSTFIX_MYHOSTNAME is unset. Especially /etc/hostname will not contain anything useful anymore. The fallback to linux.local also looks fishy. IMO config.postfix should just not set anything if $POSTFIX_MYHOSTNAME is not set. Postfix will use `hostname`.localdomain itself then (which should be changed to `hostname`.localhost but that's another story).
