Meanwhile I have figured out one reason for this problem!

It depends on the AUTOMATIC LOGIN that can be set for exactly one user. This
can be done already during system installation. If done so you will find
following in the /etc/sysconfig-Editor (YaST2):

     Desktop Display Manager DISPLAYMANAGER_AUTOLOGIN: <username>

A login with this username causes the VNC window to crash. If you remove this
username in /etc/sysconfig VNC works fine with this user-login!

As a consequence of this removal there is no automatic login and you will be
asked to login every time starting a session after boot. The same happens if
you add a further user to the system. Then any autologin-user will be removed.

Since there is no autologin for root possible vnc for a root session still
works without problems.

So I assume VNC has to disregard any auto-login settings opening a KDE session.

KDE problem:
For a user you can set an Auto-Login with application Configure Desktop:

      System Administration Login Screen: Convenience

But this doesn't work because no entry will be created in /etc/sysconfig!
