How about you stop making assumptions about what I'm doing? I know it's not the
default. But the plasma5 basis is a total mess, and not being kept up with the
releases of the upstream software. How do you expect people to test it when it
by default installs in a partial state?

If I install the plasma 5 basis, I expect it should pull in all the KF5 based
apps if they exist for one of the packages, and not the KDE 4 SC version.
(Which Hrvoje Senjan has already updated the pattern for, apprently).

It pulls in konsole, not konsole5. It doesn't even pull in sddm, which is a
requirement for Plasma 5 according to KDE.

I don't expect KDE 4 patterns to pull in KF5 apps, but that idea isn't even up
to date with KDE anymore. The current version of the applications is KDE 14.12
which contains KF5 version when available, or else the continued KDE 4 apps
with versions updated. There isn't even a package that does that correctly.
