I'm sorry to disappoint you, but most likely mysql-workbench would be removed from openSUSE Tumbleweed. The root of this bug most likely lies somewhere in python2 - ctypes - libffi8 (as it works fine with libffi7). I've created bug for that, but as python2 is about to be removed understandably there is no many people willing to dig it. Bug was pinged back to me, but I have no expertise in python nor time to dive into it, sorry. So workbench is currently broken, there is no any signs of python3 port ��� only a couple of years old promise that transition would come and more resent note that it haven't happened, no any ETA. As python2 would be removed, workbench would be removed too. I'm not happy about that, as I haven't found any substitution for MySQL Workbench. Some people like DBeaver, but I don't like it TBH. Other solutions I've checked online either looks too basic, or aren't free/open.
